Calif. law students examine technology’s legal ramifications

The Stanford Daily, Stanford University’s student newspaper, reports on the first Bay Area Law School Technology Conference in Palo Alto, Calif. The conference focused on the changing laws in a technology-driven society. Included in the program were discussions of fair-use law and open-source software’s implications for worldwide business. The conference drew students from four local law schools.
