High-tech toys a big distraction for many college students

The Detroit Free Press reports that college students are spending more time on their computers for personal entertainment reasons than for academics. Educators are worried that the recreational use of computers is becoming a major distraction. In fact, more college students surveyed last year reported that computer gaming and internet surfing were a bigger distraction than alcohol.
