The Idaho Mountain Express reports on a group of local eighth-graders whose design for an educational toy was among 60 West Coast finalists in the 2005 TOYChallenge contest, sponsored by the Sally Ride Foundation. The three-student team was the first from Idaho to enter the contest, and they will be at next week’s nationals in San Diego with their design for a board game called “Apple Core Classes.”
