The Austin American-Statesman reports that the Texas House approved a bill that makes it easier for schools to purchase online instructional materials instead of traditional textbooks. The bill, authored by Rep. Kent Grusendorf, R-Arlington, passed by a 145-2 vote. (Note: This site requires registration.)
