Educators, trainers discover the teaching value of video games

The Christian Science Monitor reports that adult professionals, such as firefighters, are discovering the powerful training value of video games. It’s all part of a trend that has seen video games move out of arcades and into other areas of life. “Interactive entertainment is seeping through the culture in educaion and corporate training in ways that will impact how people learn and how the do their jobs,” said Douglas Lowenstein, president of the Entertainment Software Association.
