Seattle students use video skill to protest new high-stakes test

The Seattle Times reports on a growing controversy in Washington State. Many students are upset that a new high-stakes test will determine whether or not they can graduate from high school. Students in Seattle’s Rainier Beach High School media-literacy unit were so strongly opposed to the new test that they produced eight public-service announcements criticizing it. The students are trying to get their videos shown on Seattle’s local PBS station.
