Kansas City agency reaches out to kids to bridge digital divide


The Kansas City Star reports on the local Operation Breakthrough agency that is helping to fight the digital divide by exposing some of the area’s low-income children to computers. While low-income adults tend to lag behind in computer usage, children in all socioeconomic groups seem to take to computers with the same degree of enthusiasm.
