District’s deal with radio station opens doors for learning

The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports that a local jazz radio station in Greece, N.Y., has moved its headquarters to Olympia High School’s new library and media center. This is not the first time that the district has housed this independent station, since it had previously been located at a middle school. District officials will make it possible for the high school’s students to take radio broadcast and production lessons on the station’s equipment.
