The Christian Science Monitor reports on how the web can make it possible to study historical events, such as a 1704 raid on the English settlement of Deerfield, Mass., from multiple perspectives. A new site devoted to the Deerfield raid allows visitors to examine the event through five different cultural perspectives (Mohawk, Abenaki, Huron, French, and English). The site uses narratives from 23 people who were involved in the raid.
