NEC Visual Solutions (America) Inc., a provider of large-area display technology, has invited educators and schools to take part in its Teaching in Motion video contest. To enter, applicants must submit a two-minute video showing how NEC video projectors would help their classroom or school. Contest entries will be judged for creativity (50%), imagination (25%), and enthusiasm (25%). A panel of judges will choose the top five videos based on those criteria. The finalists’ entries will then be posted online for a public vote. On October 3, 2005, one grand-prize winner will be selected by the panel of judges based on the judging criteria. Although applications may be submitted by an individual, the grand prize will be awarded only to an accredited and qualified school or university. The winner’s school will receive 25 NEC VT47 video projectors worth an approximate value of $895 each.
