cNet's News.com reports on the recent "Blue Hat" summit at Microsoft's headquarters in Redmond, Wash. The world's largest software company invited a team of hackers and other security experts to Redmond to see if they could locate previously undetected holes in the Windows operating system. One reason Microsoft held the summit was so that its engineers could develop personal relationships with hackers and security researchers who might be more willing to share information with them in the future.
