The Herald Standard of Uniontown, Pa., reports that the local county’s efforts to preserve copies of the old school yearbooks on compact disc has led to another project — developing a database for all of the schools’ alumni. In addition, the district has been able to raise revenue by selling the CD-ROM versions of the old yearbooks to alumni whose own yearbooks are worn out or lost.
