The Dallas Morning News reports that federal officials have asked the Dallas Independent School District to offer a detailed explanation of the potentially questionable business practices reported by the Dallas newspaper last month. DISD was also told its pending eRate applications will receive extra scrutiny in the wake of this newspaper report and that it must freeze all payments owed to Micro System Enterprises.
