The Daily Times of Maryville, Tenn., reports that the Blount County school system is soliciting opinions from up to 5,000 members of the public, who are being asked to participate in an online survey about the district’s new high school. The district is building the news school to alleviate overcrowding in one of the county’s two existing high schools. The survey includes questions about how big the school should be and what varsity sports it should offer. A separate online survey is being conducted among teachers in the district to break these educators’ responses out from the general public’s.
