The Gwinnett Daily Post of Gwinnett County, Ga., reports that the Gainesville school district is offering parents online access to detailed information about their children’s performance relative to the entire grade and specific classroom. It’s part of a long-term technology initiative that has helped the district boost scores and meet all performance-related provisions of the No Child Left Behind law. “Our parents have so much data they can not only see how their children are doing, but how every teacher is doing and how every school is doing,” said Gainesville’s superintendent.
