Thanks to eMail and the internet, many parents have already been in touch with their kids’ teachers long before their first face-to-face meeting. This enables parents to feel more comfortable going into such meetings. “It takes a lot of anxiety out, because you’re not going to get hit with surprises,” says the parent of two elementary school students.
