The Boca Raton News of Boca Raton, Fla., reports that a group of local elementary school parents have banded together to help get more technology into their children’s school. Concerned that these students were falling behind kids at other schools incorporating more technology, the parents have raised $10,000 to put LCD projectors, document cameras, microphones, and interactive whiteboards in three pilot classrooms. They plan to continue raising money until all 40 classrooms at the school are similarly equipped.
