S. C. lawmakers call for computerized exams

The State.com reports that South Carolina lawmakers want to get test results in teachers’ hands more quickly and give students a test that better gauges their strengths and weaknesses. The plan calls for an adaptive computerized test that asks tougher questions as the test taker answers questions correctly. The adaptive test is suppossed to give teachers a clearer picture of where students need improvement.
