The Congress in the Classroom program offers teachers a workshop dedicated to the exchange of ideas and information on teaching about Congress. The workshop consists of two types of sessions: those that focus on recent research and scholarship about Congress, and those geared to specific ways to teach students about Congress. Program participants will work with national experts as well as colleagues from across the nation. The program will feature a broad overview of Congress, with special attention to the mid-year elections of 2006and topics will include how to use technology and the internet to teach about these subjects.
