The Orlando Sentinel reports that Orange district school board member Rick Roach has consistently pressured his school district to purchase products from a campaign contributor. In 2001, when the district decided to purchase Dell, rather than ESQ products, Roach complained, and the district eventually split the contract. Roach also discouraged the district from moving towards a model where they only used one computer company.
