News.com reports that through a relationship with mtvU, Cisco unveiled the "Digital Incubator" program, an annual contest where 10 student groups will be selected to receive $25,000 to fund projects aimed at content development for broadband users. This year's winners integrate elements of social networking, gaming, blogging, instant messaging, and short-form programming. The first Digital Incubator projects will air in May as a part of mtvU's on-campus programming for the next six months.
