The Noblesville Daily Times reports that foreign journalists at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair were very impressed with Noblesville High School, comparing it favorably to the best their countries have to offer. Foreign journalists covering 40 nations got a look at what NHS Principal Annetta Petty described as “technology in action in an educational capacity.” NHS Technology Specialist Lorie Homan gave the group of journalists a presentation about the technology both students and staff employ on a daily basis, and told the group that with 800 computers in the school, NHS has a 3-1 computer-to-student ratio. In addition, every staff member has a computer. NHS is equipped with T-1 lines, and in certain locations, wireless access.
