The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Cobb County school officials blame an overeager spam filter for capturing and removing a businessman's proposal to provide telephone services to the system. Unfortunately, the proposal put forth by Mike Russell, president of Elite Telecom Services, would have saved the district about $250,000. In the interim, Bell South won the contract instead, with a worth of about $670,000 per year.
