TMCnet.com reports that Dell has teamed up with the Cobb County School District in Georgia, to provide 8,000 notebook computers to teachers. The first phase of the program will send 5,600 computers immediately, and the remainder will be delivered by the end of July. The contract is valued at $10 million dollars, and provides for teacher training on the technology and how to integrate it into instruction.
