BBC.com reports that an eight-year-old girl has shown signs of repetitive stress injuries due to text-messaging. The girl’s mother said she was “constantly texting” and that the girl sent about 30 text messages a day. It wasn’t until the girl was diagnosed with RSI that the extent of her text messaging habit has become apparent.
