Since 1993, the 2007 SeaWorld/Busch Gardens/Fujifilm Environmental Excellence Awards have recognized the outstanding efforts of students and teachers across the country who are working at the grassroots level to protect and preserve the environment. In the past decade, $1.4 million has been awarded to more than 125 schools in 40 U.S. states/territories. In 2004, the awards program was expanded to include community groups who are protecting planet Earth.
