San Diego City Schools received a $2.24 million grant, from the California Department of Education (CDE). The district will use the new state grant to implement the third phase of its Enhancing Science Education Through Technology (ESETT) program, which will continue to integrate technology into middle school science curriculum while expanding student engagement and learning opportunities in inquiry-based science education. The program includes several components and will provide technology that allows students to create and present inquiry-based science activities that address the state and national science content standards.
