ArkansasNews.com reports that State Department of Education officials announced a professional development network that will allow teachers a means of obtaining a state requirement of 60 hours of training per year. The network, named Arkansas IDEAS (Internet-Delivered Education for Arkansas Schools), will provide training in reading, writing, math, and science, and will be offered online.
