This program aims to implement an enhanced tobacco counter-marketing program to reduce underage tobacco use. This program addresses the “Healthy People 2010” focus area(s) of reducing the initiation of tobacco use among children and adolescents, increasing the average age of first use of tobacco products by adolescents and young adults, and increasing adolescents’ disapproval of smoking.
