Questia Media, Inc. announced the winners of two library grants and an ASCD book collection. Winners were selected randomly from among 462 secondary educators who participated in a 12-question online survey to determine which internet sources educators believe are reliable for classroom use. A $5,000 Library Grant went to Consuela Smith, the superintendent of Borrego Springs Unified School District (Calif.), a $2,500 grant went to Holly Fisher, a history teacher at Pine Forge Academy (Penn.), and the 50-volume collection of ASCD books was awarded to Scott Timmons, an English teacher at Golden West High School (Calif.).
