Beginning this fall, when parents of students in Rhode Island's East Greenwich Public Schools surf the district's web site in search of information about their children's education, they'll likely bump into something else: corporate advertising.

It's a model that has supported the creation and distribution of school yearbooks for years--and now it's coming to the web.
