Kansas City, MO – Ken-A-Vision announced today the acquisition of all presentation and educational camera assets and camera business from ClearOne Communications. ClearOne is a publicly traded company (OTC: CLRO.OB) in Salt Lake City, UT and is selling the product line which includes inventory and intellectual property to continue to offer a greater focus on their core business of audio conferencing solutions.
Ken-A-Vision will manufacture and support the cameras from Kansas City, and market them under the names FlexCam and ProfCam by Ken-A-Vision. The acquisition strengthens Ken-A-Vision’s ability to continue to design develop, market, and manufacture products for today’s classrooms. Additionally, the acquisition supplies additional markets for current and new Ken-A-Vision products.
