A seasoned business professional, Hodson will lead the marketing group, which includes product management, education marketing, corporate market development, marketing communications and international marketing. Over the past 20 years, the SMART product line has expanded to include the latest in interactive pen displays, interactive digital signage, wireless slates and software.
Hodson brings over 20 years of marketing, sales and management experience to SMART. One of North Americas leading marketers, Hodson has a reputation for delivering results in highly competitive and complex markets. He has 16 years’ experience with Procter & Gamble in progressively responsible roles from 1984 to 2000. Most recently, he was a managing partner of Optimé International, a leading consulting firm specializing in sales execution. Hodson has an MBA with a concentration in marketing from Queens University (Kingston, Ontario).
