The National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) has launched a new web forum called the Principal’s Policy Blog. As the reauthorization of the No Child Left Behind Act looms next year, the debate over school choice continues, and principals and teachers come under ever-intensifying pressure, NASSP says its blog will help communicate timely policy matters and NASSP positions on these topics. The blog also will allow members and guests to comment regarding various education issues that are affecting schools and school leaders. NASSP officials say they hope this online dialogue will generate an exchange of ideas and strategies to address some of the most pressing issues in education today.
