SECAUCUS, NJ (September 5, 2006)–Today, Panasonic announced the launch of its new K-12 Educator Points Program, a special points redemption program designed for Panasonic’s education customers across the country. With the K-12 Educator Points Program, school districts can earn points from qualified Panasonic Broadcast & Television Systems product purchases and redeem them for free professional and video equipment for use in the classroom, for school events, video production and more.

“Panasonic Broadcast is dedicated to providing schools with professional video solutions that help enhance the classroom learning experience,” said Robert Harris, Vice President of Marketing, Panasonic Broadcast. “Our new Educator Points Program is a great way to help schools stretch their budgets as they integrate audio/video into their curricula and classroom facilities.”

The K-12 Educator Points Program is open to school districts throughout the United States. School superintendents can register their school district on the program’s website, www.k12points.com, which offers an easy-to-use point tracking system that enables school districts to monitor points accrued and keep updated on Panasonic professional products eligible for redemption. Once enrolled, school districts can redeem accumulated Educator points for a wide range of professional quality products including professional video cameras, video monitors and plasma displays, recorders, and AV mixers. Panasonic will award 50 free points to school districts that enroll in the program before November 30, 2006.

To enroll, school superintendents can download and complete the program registration form available on the website and mail it to Panasonic K-12 Points Program, P.O. Box 1919, Memphis, TN 38101, or fax it to (901) 348-4073. School districts can record new purchases and update points online using the electronic points claim form. The superintendent (or authorized administrator) must enter a completed online claim form on the website within 30 days of each purchase to earn points for their district. To redeem the points, school district superintendents must complete the point redemption form available on the website.
