Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania–September 13, 2006, Quantum Simulations, Inc., a developer of artificial intelligence (AI) tutoring and assessment software, was recently awarded the national Tibbetts Award, the highest recognition given by the federal government to small businesses for research.
Quantum is one of two companies from Pennsylvania to win this prestigious award which recognizes exceptional small business achievement in the areas of leading-edge research, technological innovation and economic impact. Only 55 companies received this award across the country out of more than 4,000 companies that participate in the SBIR program each year.
