EMERYVILLE, CALIF. (September 21, 2006)–LeapFrog SchoolHouse, the school division of LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: LF), today announced that two of its classroom solutions, the Interactive Decodable series and Language First!™, have been honored as winners of Learning® Magazine’s 2007 Teachers’ Choice™ Awards. The awards program is one of the most prestigious in the educational market, distinguishing the best products to use in the classroom as judged by educators.

The Interactive Decodable series, for grades K-2, helps students build phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, and reading fluency skills using interactive storybooks and skill cards. Language First! is a four-level multisensory program for grades K-5 that supports English language development through interactive books with native language support in English and five other languages. The products complement one another and were designed to be used in classrooms separately or together. Both curriculum offerings will be featured in the January 2007 issue of Learning Magazine.

“We’re thrilled that LeapFrog SchoolHouse has been recognized yet again for our outstanding curriculum,” said Jessie Woolley-Wilson, president of LeapFrog SchoolHouse. “These awards are particularly meaningful because the entries were judged by teachers, who have the best understanding of how students use and benefit from educational tools. LeapFrog SchoolHouse is committed to helping English language learners succeed in the classroom with innovative, technology-based solutions, and we’re honored to receive one of the most prestigious awards in the education community.”

For more than a decade, Learning Magazine’s Teachers’ Choice Awards have highlighted the best of classroom-tested and teacher-recommended products. Teachers’ Choice is the only awards program in the country that is judged exclusively by teachers in classrooms across the country. The entries were judged on quality, instructional value, ease of use, and innovation. Out of the 477 products entered, only 77 received awards.

In 2006, the Family Involvement K-1 Literacy Kit from LeapFrog SchoolHouse earned a Learning Magazine Teachers’ Choice Award. In 2005, the Family Involvement PreK-K Literacy Kit earned a Learning Magazine Teachers’ Choice Award in the Family category.
