ST. LOUIS, MO, November 10, 2006 — Siboney Learning Group has expanded customers’ access to its Journey Guided Educational Software product line.

Effective immediately, Journey Math and Reading modules for grades 3-8 are being made available through the GAMCO distribution network, which includes companies such as Educational Resources, Learning Services, Software Express, and National School Products, among others.

In addition to increasing educators’ access to its Journey titles, Siboney is also offering Journey software at a newly reduced price of $599.95 for a network/site license per two-grade subject module.
“Correlated to national and state standards, this new pricing allows educators to have access to a computer-managed instructional program that may have been cost-prohibitive in the past,” said Robin Tinker, Vice President of Marketing for Siboney Learning Group. “Journey is also great for addressing a wide range of learning needs — from remedial high school education to ELL students to alternative schools and adult literacy programs — because the computer will automatically move the student forward or backward based on the mastery skill levels.”

Journey covers more than 500 math topic areas such as whole numbers, algebra, geometry, and statistics as well as over 300 English topic areas including vocabulary, reading, writing, and research skills. Teachers are able to keep tabs on their students’ progress with Journey’s management system, which enables them to print reports showing objectives, the date completed, time-on-task, and mastery achievement.
To receive a Journey demonstration CD-ROM at no charge, go to and complete the contact form or call 1-888-351-4430.

GAMCO,, and Journey,, titles are published by Siboney Learning Group, a dynamic publisher, integrator, and provider of comprehensive and motivational software.
