The goal of the Laura Bush Foundation is to provide books to the school libraries and students that most need them. The Laura Bush Foundation will make grants of amounts up to $5,000 to school libraries; funds are to be used to update, extend, and diversify the book collections of those libraries. All Laura Bush Foundation grants are made to individual schools rather than to school districts, foundations, or other entities. Only one application per school is allowed.
