This program is based on Start Something, a book of life lessons written by Earl Woods, father to golf champ Tiger Woods. In the program, teachers and students do a variety of things, including reading and talking about leadership, being a team player, helping students think about what they like to do, guiding them in the formation of goals, and helping them create a volunteer service project. After completing the program, students can apply for a Start Something Individual Grant of up to $5,000. Students can use this money to help pursue their dreams, whatever they might be.
