December 5, 2006 (Denver, CO)–Knowledge Factor, the leader in Confidence-Based Learning”, today announced it has been selected by ACT, Inc., one of the nation’s leading organizations in assessment and workforce development, to build a learning program for its test administrators. The program will utilize Knowledge Factor’s patented Confidence-Based Learning System” (CBL System”) to create and deploy critical issue training for test supervisors and proctors for ACT statewide testing in Michigan.
“The critical nature of the testing ACT provides requires strict adherence to test administration protocols and procedures. Deviations from procedures can result in invalidating a test,” said Ann V. ACT selected Confidence-Based Learning because of its ability both to accurately measure knowledge by isolating confidently-held misinformation and doubt and to quickly and effectively address gaps in both knowledge and confidence. The program ACT is designing with Knowledge Factor’s assistance will ensure that test administrators are not only knowledgeable, but also confident in their knowledge, about proper pre-test, post-test, and test-day requirements and procedures. Both training time and the risk of mistakes will be reduced.
