The Associated Press reports that Rwanda is now the eighth developing nation to join the One Laptop Per Child initiative. The project announced yesterday that the country will be provided with initial test laptops and technical support within the next couple of days. Later this year, Rwanda will begin to receive scores of laptops for approximately $150 apiece. The Rwandan government will cover the cost of the laptops with the goal of providing one to every primary school student within the next five years......
