The Associated Press reports that a school shooting at the Henry Foss High School in Tacoma, Washington, sent students scrambling. Upon returning from holiday break, hundreds of students were headed to their first classes of the day when gunshots rang out in the halls. Within hours, Samnang Kok was dead, and Douglas Chanthabouly was behind bars. Police Chief Donald Ramsdell said that the victim and shooter knew each other, but the motive for the attack is unknown as of now. However, the shooting was not believed to be gang-related or the product of racial motivation.
