The new site developed to support SMART´s education, corporate, government and military customers features easy-to-use navigational tools providing quick, easy access to information and resources about products, training, software updates and after-sales support. SMART incorporated customer feedback into the design and resources for the new site, strengthening its industry leading customer service. The result is a user-friendly website that is easy to navigate and search with quick links that enable customers to find the answer to hundreds of commonly asked questions.
The new customer support site is one of many refinements being made to the services group. In 2006, to support its growing global customer base, SMART increased its customer service team by 60 per cent. The team comprises a diverse group of support professionals who collectively speak 20 languages. They offer customers enhanced technical and functional support by phone, e-mail, fax, Web callback and Web chat. The team fields questions from customers ranging from general product inquiries to complex technical support issues. The team also responds to requests for training, from basic to advanced sessions, on all SMART products and software. Customer enquiries are directed to specific areas of customer service to ensure faster response times and more direct feedback.
