Holt, Rinehart and Winston (HRW) previewed a brand-new technology that will enable users of the company's online curriculum to record sound online. Called SoundBooth, the technology will be incorporated into Holt's online Spanish curriculum, Expresate, later this spring and is planned for upcoming revisions of the company's French and German programs, too. SoundBooth will allow students to record and play back their voices while learning vocabulary, practicing pronunciation, or doing speaking activities in their online textbooks.
