Students offer net advice to colleges

CNET reports on a student panel held at Sun Microsystems’ Worldwide Education and Research Conference in San Francisco. One of the strongest messages for educators from the two students on the panel was that universities shouldn’t try to restrict access to online information and social-networking sites such as MySpace or Facebook.
