Boston.com reports that two teenage girls who attend Edgewood High School allegedly gained unauthorized access to the Edgewood City Schools computer system, and posted a fake winter closing on their school district's web site. Schools Superintendent Tom York said that he was confused when he entered the site to announce a one-hour delay, and instead, found an announcement that school was canceled. York said he announced the delay because of a cold snap, not because of snow, which was listed on the posted announcement. The two students face expulsion for their actions, which confused many parents and convinced some students
