Boston.com reports that two teenage girls who attend Edgewood High School allegedly gained unauthorized access to the Edgewood City Schools computer system, and posted a fake winter closing on their school district’s web site. Schools Superintendent Tom York said that he was confused when he entered the site to announce a one-hour delay, and instead, found an announcement that school was canceled. York said he announced the delay because of a cold snap, not because of snow, which was listed on the posted announcement. The two students face expulsion for their actions, which confused many parents and convinced some students to stay home from school…
