The Associated Press reports that Philadelphia teacher Frank Burd was assaulted at Germantown High School after taking away a student’s iPod during class. Following class, Burd was confronted by the 17-year-old student. A 15-year-old student then joined the confrontation, and either tripped or punched Burd, causing him to fall and fracture bones in his neck.
