PowerSchool, a division of Apple Computer, has announced the availability of a new web-based student information system (SIS), PowerSchool Premier. PowerSchool Premier was developed for schools requiring a more scalable Structured Query Language (SQL) relational database. It uses the company's SIS technology to meet the needs of schools and districts that are much larger, more complex, or have more sophisticated technology requirements.
