Digital printing solutions provider RISO Inc. has introduced a new series of Printer-Duplicators for schools and businesses. Consisting of three models–the RZ390, RZ310, and RZ220–the series incorporates the latest breakthroughs in digital duplicating technology, RISO says.

The RZ Printer-Duplicators offer a host of new features and benefits for users, chief among them RISO’s proprietary iQuality System. This patented technology reportedly provides automatic, two-way communication between the duplicators and their supplies, inks, and masters via tiny, integrated radio-frequency tags embedded in the ink bottle and master roll. The RISO iQuality System features an automatic alert system that informs users whenever shortages in ink and masters occur, as well as if supplies are loaded improperly.

By providing new automatic functions, RISO aims to cut down on the amount of operator intervention required for production, the company says. All three models have a new, intuitive operator layout designed to increase their ease of use. The master unit pulls out like a drawer, allowing easy placement of a fresh master roll.

“The unveiling of our new RZ Series and the RISO iQuality System reflects our commitment to provide innovative digital printing technologies that combine productivity, versatility, and cost-effectiveness, all the while keeping total customer satisfaction our priority,” said Kevin Hunter, director of sales support for RISO.

The suggested retail prices are $9,995 for the RZ390, $7,995 for the RZ310, and $5,995 for the RZ220.
